Due to low registration numbers this year, your Rupert Nite Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's event.

This is a special tradition that no other city has. For over 60 years Rupertites have gathered in Vancouver because of a special connection we all share across generations. 

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets this year and for all those Rupertites who have supported Rupert Nite over the years.

The Reasoning: We appreciate how disappointing this is. It was a decision triggered by deadlines to pay for the facility rental, caterer, DJ, liquor license, and bar.  Ticket sales cover the costs. Last year at this time we had 200 tickets sold and so we knew the costs would be covered by tickets sales.
